The leading universities of 9 countries are participating in the International Video Conference of CIS Universities: Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, St. Petersburg State University, Institute of Asian and African Countries of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Belarusian State University, Baku State University, Yerevan State University, Moldavian State University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Tajik National University, Osh State University.

Deputy dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business, al-Farabi KazNU, on research-innovation affairs and international relations, PhD, Zhidebekkyzy Aknur held two webinars on identifying of “predatory” journals in the Scopus database for teachers and doctoral students of the faculty. During the webinar, types of journals in the international databases Scopus and Web of Science, criteria by which the “predatory” journals are determined, specific examples and tools for analyzing scientometric indicators were considered.

On May 9, 2020, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of Management Department at al-Farabi Kazakh National University A.N. Turginbayeva took part in the action «Bridges of memory», dedicated to the anniversary of the 75^th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The event was organized by the Department Of Social Technologies and Public Service of the Belgorod State University, together with the Institute for Cross-Border Cooperation and Integration. Colleagues from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Bulgaria and Kyrgyzstan were invited to honor the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. There were about 60 participants in the action in the format of the ZOOM video conference.

May 7, 2020 the head of Management Department at al-Farabi Kazakh National University Turginbayeva A.N. took part in the Video conference “Civil Initiative in a Pandemic” organized by Institute for Cross-Border Cooperation and Integration (Russia).

From April 6 to 9, 2020, the International scientific conference of students and young scientists «Farabi Alemi» was organized via online Zoom platform. The topic of the third section of Management Department: "Development of a new model of interstate cooperation of the Eurasian countries: managerial aspect». 

On may 6, at 11: 00 am, the Department of Business technology organized an online meeting on career Guidance for future graduates of the Department of marketing and logistics. The online meeting gave a unique opportunity to meet with the Deputy Secretary of the admissions Committee of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University with Saprov B. Zh. At the online meeting, the Secretary of the admissions Committee told about the requirements for admission to the master's program and students of the 4th year were able to get answers to all questions about admission.

Management of the Department of "Business technologies": head of the Department, Ph. D., associate Professor Akhmetova Z.B., Deputy head of the Department for educational and methodical work, Ph. D. Akhmetkalieva S.K., Deputy head of the Department for research and innovation and international relations doctor (PhD), Ph. D., associate Professor Tovma N.A. and senior adviser of the Department Malikova R. M. on April 29, 2020 at 14.00 on the ZOOM platform held an online meeting with students and undergraduates of the Department to explain the issues of the examination session and protection of graduation papers in online mode.

Within the framework of project "100 kitap", 1st year students of specialty "Economics" held an event dedicated to the collection "Osietnama" written by Dulat Babatayuly, which became the book of the year on the eve of the 25th anniversary of independence.
