Today, April 23, 2021 at 11.00 in the auditorium named after E. Shaimerdenov (214) of the Faculty of Journalism of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, within the framework of the IX Qozhakeev readings, a scientific and practical online conference "TEMIRBEK QOZHAKEEV AND THE MODERN SATIRIC WORD OF KAZAKHSTAN" was held. Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Sagatbek Medeubekuly made an introductory speech, who then gave the floor to the satirist, laureate of the International Literary Prize "Alash" Kopen Amirbek.

 The main report on the topic "Fighter for Truth - the activities of Professor T. Qozhakeyev in the study of the history of Kazakh journalism" was made by Ph.D., Professor of the Department of Media Communication and History of Kazakhstan, University of International Information Technologies Beisenkulov Ayazbi, who noted significant works in the life of the scientist and proposed to create a commission for the upcoming anniversary and to present to the attention of scientists even more research.

Within the framework of the conference, students shared their memories, made reports that reveal the essence of the teacher. Qozhakeev - researcher of press history", chairman of the satire council of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, director-chief editor of the publishing house "Annur sapa" Yermakhan Shaikhyuly "Wise and legendary man", director of radio "Shalkar", Ph.D. Bolatbek Tolepbergen "Great teacher, noble essence", Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Printing and Electronic Media of the Faculty of Journalism of KazNU named after Al-Farabi Gulnar Uzbekova "The one for whom the truth was the standard", etc. thoughts were voiced and a comprehensive assessment of the teacher's activities was given.

 At the end of the conference, a video material of a 3-year student of the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi KazNU Kuantai Zholdasbekov about Temirbek Kozhakeev was presented.

The results of the competition dedicated to the Qozhakeev readings were summed up by analysts: For the best scientific project, poet, excellent worker in the information sphere of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bekzhan Ashirbaev, for the best journalism, laureate of the International Literary Prize "Alash", writer Nurzhan Kuantayuly, for the best satirical work, chairman of the satire council of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, director-chief editor of the publishing house "Annur Sapa" Ermakhan Shaikhyuly, for the best multimedia project, professor of the Department of Media Communication and History of Kazakhstan, University of International Information Technologies, Beisenkulov Ayazbi.

According to the results of the competition, the winners were: in the nomination "Best Scientific Project" 

• 1st place (100,000 tenge) "Women publicists in Kazakh journalism: creative workshop, national character", 2-year undergraduate student of Al-Farabi KazNU Kuralay Bashanova; 
• 2nd place (33.333 tenge): 1. in the nomination "Best multimedia project" "About Temirbek Kozhakeev" https://youtu.be/s4i_p-mVZOM 3-year student of the Faculty of Journalism of KazNU named after Al-Farabi Kuantai Zholdasbekov; 2. in the nomination "The best journalism" "Journalism of Gazymbek Birimzhan", 1st-year master's student of the A. Baitursynov University (Qostanay) Daniyar Ihsan; 3. in the nomination "Best satirical work" "Congratulations, you are awarded with bus hypocrisy!", 3rd-year student of Al-Farabi KazNU Maria Matrunina.

 At one time, Zeinolla Qabdolov gave a wonderful assessment of the outstanding personality, wise teacher, Doctor of Philology, Professor T. Qozhakeev: “Temirbek is a strong nail. Would they make nails out of such people in order to hammer and restore the bloodless, shattered, devastated places of the world?” The personality of Professor T. Qozhakeev, who has brought up thousands of students, will never be forgotten.
