Took part in the International Conference in Poland

  A group of teachers, undergraduates and students of the department took part in the International Scientific Conference "Europe in the 21st Century" in the city of Slubice, Poland. This year, an authoritative scientific meeting was held for the 20th time. For the first time a section was held in the Kazakh language. In Slubice, there is a branch of Adam Mickiewicz University, which last year celebrated its centenary. Teachers of the department also participated in this anniversary. Over the years, the University has come a long way. Since its foundation, the university has become one of the most famous and prestigious universities in the country. And to this day, he remains one of the recognized leaders of Polish higher education. Over many years of work in the educational services market of the Republic of Poland, the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan has gained the authority of a unique university that successfully competes with leading educational institutions not only in the country, but also in the world. Now about 1000 students from other countries, including from Kazakhstan, are studying at the university.

During the conference, the staff of the Faculty of Oriental Languages was presented with a bust of Abay Kunanbayev, the library of the faculty of political science and journalism, al-Farabi’s works, reference books and studies, as well as a carpet with the image of the “Second Teacher”. Representatives of the department were also in the city of Berlin and visited the grave of one of the great Kazakhstani political figures Mustafa Shokai.
