The section entitled «New Information and Educational Technologies in the Educational Process» has started its work  at the Faculty of Journalism in the framework of the 50th international scientific-methodological conference «Modern Interpretation of the Pedagogical Concept of Al-Farabi in the Context of Digitalization of Education», which was held at KazNU.

The moderator of the section was G.K. Mukanova, Professor of the Publishing and Design Department. The meeting was attented by representatives of the Narxoz University and S. Asfendiyarov KazNMU and other HEIs of Almaty, including the Heads of the Publishing Houses «Mektep» and «Economics», the Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and doctoral students and undergraduates of KazNU.

The meeting was substantive, the problems of introducing information technology into the educational process, the certification priorities and the necessary competencies of teachers in digitalization, new ways and models of interaction with high school and other pressing issues were discussed.
