Laboratory was created and equipped to study technical security systems and further certification with the assistance of recognized Russian leader in the development and production of safety equipment and systems – PERCo company.
The department introduced the course "Technical Security Systems" since September 2013. Students learn to design modern security systems, analyze security design solutions, develop software for security systems, install and operate modern security systems.
There are laboratory stands with PERSo-S-20 equipment, mobile cases with mini laboratory stands.
Based on the results of studying the PERCo-S-20 system, it is possible to pass a series of tests and, upon successful completion, obtain a personal certificate "Authorized installer PERCo".
Testing consists of two theoretical and two practical tasks. To perform the first practical task you need the equipment of the S-20 system (PERCo-CT / L04 controller with readers). Working with the second practical task implies the changing of the already existing database of PERCo-S-20 software according to the specified parameters, does not require any hardware. Tasks are sent to the PERCo Training Center.
