In the framework of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 85th anniversary of the Department of Mechanics, the opening ceremony of the auditorium named after Shahbaz Alimgireevich Yershin, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Within the framework of this event, the wife of Academician Sh.A. Yershin, Professor of KazGosZhenPU Ainakul Kapasovna Yershina donated to the Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University the monograph of Academician Sh.A. Yershin "Sh.A. Yershin. Hydroaerodynamics. - Almaty: Kazakh University, 2013. - 354 p.", in the amount of 10 copies, with a total cost of 62120 tenge.

This action is aimed at supporting one of the most important indicators of the educational process at the university - book availability. The book is intended for students studying fluid mechanics and gas and will also be useful for specialists in the field of hydroaerodynamics.
