Scientific seminar "Education and Science in the Framework of Sustainable Development Goals"

On April 17, with the support of the UN Information Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the IV online scientific seminar "Education and Science in the Framework of Sustainable Development Goals" dedicated to April 12 - International Human Space Day.

The seminar was organized by the Department of Mechanics and Print and Electronic Media of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Vlastimil Samek, Representative of the UN Department of Global Communications, AA Arenova, Head of the Political Group of the Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Rafis Abazov, Political Analyst, VF Grishchenko, Head of the Laboratory of Reliability and Security of Orbital and Earth Space Systems, Head of the Department of Mechanics, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Farabi Kazakh National University, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Rakisheva Z.B., Deputy Head of the Department of Mechanics for Scientific and Innovative Activities and International Relations, Dr. PhD N. Kalieva , Head of the Department of Print and Electronic Media, Faculty of Journalism Dr. Gulmira Sultanbayeva and doctoral students, undergraduates and students of these departments.

The topics of the seminar were:

• "Problems of training in the field of space technology",
• "The role of youth in the development of aviation and cosmonautics",
• "Journalism and space: news and events on tape".

Participants who made presentations at the seminar were awarded special diplomas.Among them are students of the Department of Mechanics, specialty "Space Engineering and Technology" A. Baigarina, A. Abdysalykova, A. Turgumbaeva, A. Sultangaliev.
