Currently, 100 holders of "Abay-Vern" scholarship are studying in France, of which 90 master students and 10 doctoral students from various universities in Kazakhstan. Among them, a graduate of Mechanics Department of the al – Farabi Kazakh National University Turtayeva Zarina doing her doctoral research at LEMTA (LABORATOIRE D'ÉNERGÉTIQUE ET DE MÉCANIQUE THÉORIQUE ET APPLIQUÉE) laboratory of the University of Lorraine in Nancy, France.
LEMTA focuses on research in the field of mechanics and energy, and carries out research in three areas: Devote a significant research effort to provide clean and efficient energy for the energy transition; Respond to major societal and environmental concerns; Understand the behavior of complex materials (solid or fluid) in processes and systems.
