THEME: «Inverse Source Problems. Theory, Numerics and Applications».

Abstract: We will discuss reconstruction of different type of sources. In Mathematics this kind of problems is usually ill-posed, i.e. one of the basics theorems (existence, uniqueness and/or stability of the inverse problems solution) can not be proved. We need to use regularization, a priori information, error analysis. In applicationsthe identification of the source is quite important in ecology, medicine, geophysics, social sciences, biology. In several topics we will describe all mentioned problems, including basics algorithms (optimization, Newton-Kantorovich, SVD, etc.) and several heuristic approaches (nature inspired algorithms, neural networks, genetic algorithm and others).
