On October 29, a meeting of professors and lecturers of the department of mechanics with first-year students was held in the Zholdasbekov Hall of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

  The meeting was organized by the Deputy Head of the Department of Mechanics D. E. Turalina. The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Mechanics Professor Z. B. Rakisheva, Professor A.Kaltaev, Professor E.E. Temirbekov, Professor E.K. Abdyldaev, Associate Professor N.K. Dzhamalov, Associate Professor T.K. Kunakbaev, associate professor Zhumashova Zh.T., associate professor A.K. Tulepbergenov, as well as lecturers A. Ismailova and B. Sagitzhanov.

  The meeting was attended by more than 100 students of the Department of Mechanics, studying on the educational programs "Mechanics", "Space Engineering and Technology" and "Robotic Systems". First-year students were introduced to the areas of educational programs carried out by the Department of Mechanics, the levels of training.

  Professors and lecturers talked about the prospects of educational programs, about the requirements for admission to a magistracy, doctoral studies. Students were introduced to the Kazakh - French  Educational program "Geoenergetics (Mechanics. Energy)". At the end of the meeting, professors and teachers answered students' questions.
