Ancient and medieval archeology museum of Kazakhstan
Ancient and medieval archeology museum of Kazakhstan was opened in 1983. The museum exposition is divided into three sections, which exhibits archaeological materials of the Bronze Age, Early Iron Age and the Middle Ages, discovered during the scientific researches of professors of the department. The most valuable and rare material is presented in the section of medieval history. It is assembled on Aktobe settlement, which is dated from the V-VII centuries and is unique multi-layered medieval monument. Excellent examples of ceramics - are vessels, hums (for water storage, grain), multi-colored glazed pottery, clay pipes medieval aqueduct found by archaeologists on the territory of the settlement, according to the main stages of development of the city from ancient times to the Middle Ages. The most valuable exposure is attached by the scripts that are considered to be an undoubtedly important visual material for teaching the students.
