Student of the specialty "Archeology and Ethnology" Akkalieva A. took 1st place in the republican subject Olympiad among students

The XI Republican student subject Olympiad in the specialty 5B041900 - “Museum Management and Protection of Monuments”. It was attended by six teams from all over Kazakhstan. The Olympiad consisted of 3 stages: presentation, excursion, project protection. The main prize was a team from Shymkent.

The Central state Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the exhibition "the way of deer". The exhibition presented a variety of interesting and unusual drawings.  At the exhibition we saw a lot of interesting items.

Student of specialization "Archeology and Ethnology" (Zhumagalieva J., Katyat K., Duisenbai N., Beisengaziev N., Akkalieva A.) have 3 months in the previous Olympiad as a student.

Student of specialization "Archeology and Ethnology" (Kenesov A., B. Zharylgasinova, M. Kurakbayev, A. Amangeldi) have 3 months in the previous Olympiad as a student.

A 4th-year student of the specialty "Museum and monument protection" in the Republican competition for the best scientific work in the field of natural, technical, social and humanitarian Sciences took: Imanalieva Dana 2nd place

On the eve of the Nauryz holiday, the Almaty Museum organized an ethnographic exhibition at the Faculty of History, Archeology and Ethnology. The exhibition was devoted to ethnographic collections: wooden, leather goods and household items. The interest of students in this exhibition was high. The famous ethnographer T. Kartaeva made a tour of the exhibition.

March 14, at the faculty of history, archeology and Ethnology, Department of archeology, Ethnology and museology in conjunction with the club "Ethnologist" and master students of the 1st course of the specialty "Archeology and Ethnology" , "museology and protection of monuments" held an event "The beginning of the new year is the tradition of Korisu". The event continued with a concert program organized by students and undergraduates on the basis of the exhibition of the Museum Association of Almaty, as well as issues on national traditions and customs.

The first year students of the specialties "Archeology and Ethnology" and "Museum Business" visited the Almaty History Museum and took part in the event dedicated to the art of central Kazakhstan.
