As part of the student scientific circle, on October 30, 2020, an online lecture was held - a conversation with the senior researcher of the museum D.A. Kunaeva N.S. Zhusipbaeva. During the lecture-conversation, the students of museology had questions about working with the funds of the museum, replenishing the funds, storage modes, etc. N.S. Zhusipbayeva described in detail the procedure for replenishing the museum funds and the working process in the funds. Future museum experts were active, which was reflected in the online meeting in a positive way for all parties! The participants of the student circle listened with hope to the practicing specialist in museums N. S. Zhusipbaev.

The scientific student circle (hereinafter referred to as SSC) is of a research nature, its activities are aimed at topical problems of culture, history, protection of monuments, cultural heritage, museology.

The SSC "Muzeolog" is one of the main tools for improving the quality of training specialists in the field of museums and the protection of monuments, contributes to the mastery of students the basics of scientific theories, methods of scientific research, the development of a creative approach to solving theoretical and practical problems.

The research work carried out by students is closely related to the educational process and contributes to the effective assimilation of the studied material.

Every year at the Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Useology, research work of students is carried out within the framework of the student scientific circle.

The work of the scientific circle "museologist" is aimed at strengthening students' interest in museology, education of patriotism. These goals are achieved through the desire of students to regularly visit museums. The student museological circle organizes regular visits to museums, as well as holding round tables, where everyone present can realize themselves within the framework of the declared topic in various ways of participation in order to develop and strengthen the skills to competently conduct scientific work.

VIІ INTERNATIONAL FARABI READINGS

On April 6-8, 2020, the VI International Farabi Readings took place in the al-Farabi Kazakh National University in a remote format. In the section “Archeology of Eurasia: Past and Present” the prizes were: 1st place - Kuralova Zulfiya 2nd year student of the specialty “5B020800-Archeology and Ethnology”; 2nd place - Zharylgasyn Bibinur and Kenesbek Balzhan first-year undergraduates with a degree in 6M020800-Archeology and Ethnology; 3rd place - Aliakbarov Rashid and Galymzhan Nurnazar 2nd year students of the specialty “5B020800-Archeology and Ethnology”.

On April 6, 2020, the VII international Farabi readings section "traditional and modern Ethnology of science: Kazakhstan and world studies" of the international scientific conference of students and young scientists "Farabi Alemi" was held in the online zoom program under the guidance of the Department of archeology, Ethnology and museology. The moderators of this section were doctor of historical Sciences, acting Professor K. B. N. Kalabaeva and a senior teacher G. A. Kabdoldin. Reports of participants were heard, where questions were asked by the teaching staff, and topics were discussed. It is worth noting that the online conference was attended by research supervisors of students and other teachers interested in this section. Among the protected reports was the report of Moldashova Aida "Historiography of the peoples of Eastern Europe according to craniological data of the XIX century" under the guidance of Ph. D. Shalginbaeva Saule Khamitovna. 2nd year students of the specialty Museum business and protection of monuments of Berikbolova Nurgul on the topic " Study of the history of ancient faiths of the Russian people in East Kazakhstan (old believers)".
Among the reports, the work of the best students was recommended for awarding the diploma of Vice-rector Ramazanov T. S. the First place was taken by Aida Moldashova, the second - Nurgul Berikbolova and ASEM Temirali, the third-Nikita Petrenko and Nikita Shatokhin.
