On November 27, 2nd year students of the specialty "Geodesy and cartography" held an educational hour "The Latin alphabet - a new horizon of the Kazakh language". At this hour, each student shared their thoughts about the importance of switching to the Latin alphabet.

There is still time to think and decide on the future of our country. All our young people know the Latin alphabet. Most of our spiritual worlds are written in this Latin script. Therefore, the symbolic meaning and content of Latin in our national consciousness has not disappeared. We just have to recreate it in our minds. Moreover, the Latin alphabet has the ability to unite the Kazakh nation around the world. Our compatriots in Turkey and Western countries use this Latin alphabet. Uzbekistan, where many of our compatriots live, has also adopted the Latin alphabet. In short, the third stage of Kazakhstan's modernization has begun. We are witnesses of these historic days and citizens who live in this historical period and contribute to the common good. This is one of the great days in the history of the nation.
