IINFORMATION LETTER

Dear colleages!

Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of lLterature of Faculty of Philology and World Languages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University invites you to take part in the International research-practice conference, devoted to the 90 anniversary of famous scientist and publicman T. Kakishuly, "Professor Kakishuly and actual problems of literature's history" will take place at October, 23, 2017. For participating researchers and teachers, young scientists of institutions of higher learning are invited to conferences.

Within the framework of the conference, the following sections are planned:

1. T. Kakishuly – teacher, scientist, public figure;

2. T. Kakishuly and actual problems of the history of Kazakh literature;

3. T. Kakishuly and actual problems of criticism of Kazakh literature;

4. The problems of teaching criticism and the history of Kazakh literature in higher and secondary educational institutions.

Materials for publication are accepted in Kazakh, Russian, English.

Requirements for the presentation of the report:

The volume of reports should not exceed 5 pages; line spacing – 1 (single); text should be typed in Word format; font Tіmes New Roman, size 14; fields: upper – 2 cm, lower – 2 cm, right - 2 cm, left – 2 cm. In the upper right of the sheet the author's surname and initials, work place, academic degree and title are printed. In the middle of the sheet is the name of the abstract or report. Footnotes are given at the end of the text in the order in which they are cited. Reports should be submitted in electronic version with the application of one copy of the printed text. Following the results of the conference a collection of materials will be published.

The cost of publication is 4000 tenge.

All expenses related to the arrival and stay in Almaty, at the expense of the participants.

To participate in the conference, applications and reports should be submitted no later than October, 1, 2017.
