The theme of environmental protection is relevant today more than ever before. All people living on earth, one way or another, are interested in environmental issues. Article 38 of the Constitution of RK says, “Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan are obliged to preserve nature and to treat natural resources with care. A very important thing for the present and future population of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the problem of preserving the favorable quality of the environment. It is the most important social task - careful attitude to nature and its resources – is the Constitutional duty not only of citizens of Kazakhstan, but also of all state bodies, economic entities, nature users, NGOs" .

Hiroshima and Nagasaki - the lessons of history

On April 3, 2017 students of the 1 year 112 group held an educational event "Hiroshima and Nagasaki - the lessons of history" with the participation of Doctor of historical sciences, Professor Mendikulova G.M. in Room 317 from 13:00 to 14: 00. The event was attended by the staff of the Department: Abikenova A.A., Nurakhmetova G.G. and A. Urispaeva A.A. The event aroused a great interest of the1st year students on the questions: why was it necessary to bomb two cities of Japan when the war had ended; why a nuclear test site was created in Semipalatinsk.

Chess tournament

On 14 April 2017 a chess tournament between the students of Group 112 of the Law Faculty and Doctor of Law, Professor Zhetpisbaev B.A. and Candidate of Law, Assistant Professor Abikenova A.A. Both sides not only enjoyed the game, but also decided to hold a tennis tournament in the near future.
