The scholarship program with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB)

Dear teachers and students!

We present you a scholarship program with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), which is funded by the Government of Japan. Deadline - March 31, 2016

The purpose of the program is to enable talented students from the ADB member countries to study in the post-graduate program in economics, management, science and technology and others in the educational institutions of the Asia-Pacific region that participate in this program. After completing the training, scientists must return to their home country in order to make a contribution to the economy of their country.

Scholarship

The scholarship program covers all expenses during one or two years of study at the master's and graduate programs:

tuition payment;

payment of accommodation;

payment of books and teaching material;

payment of health insurance;

payment of transportation costs.

For scientists who are engaged in research, a special grant for the preparation of a dissertation can be allocated.

 

Requirements for candidates:

gjoithe candidate must be enrolled in one of the master's or graduate programs of one of the higher educational institutions that participate in the program;

Have a bachelor's degree or an appropriate degree with an extract of the candidate's assessment;

Have at least 2 years of experience in the field after obtaining a degree;

have excellent knowledge of English;

be at least 35 years of age at the time of application, in rare cases on programs that are suitable for senior officials and supervisors, the age limit of the candidate may be 45 years;

have good medical indicators;

consent to return to your home country after graduation;

executive directors, deputy directors, managers and employees of ADB, consultants, and relatives of the above-mentioned can not claim a scholarship;

employees of educational institutions that participate in the program can not apply for admission to the institutions in which they work;

candidates who live or work outside their own country can not claim a scholarship;

ADB's scholarship program does not support students who are already enrolled in one of the master's programs;

ADB's scholarship program does not support undergraduate students, distance learning, courses, seminars, conferences, research projects.

The scholarship program is open to highly qualified representatives of ADB member countries.

 

Application for participation in the scholarship program must be sent six months before the date when the candidate plans to begin the study. The candidate should check the terms and conditions of the application at the selected educational institution.

 

How to apply for participation in the program:

Apply for admission to the chosen educational institution.

Candidates must inform the school that they are applying for an ADB scholarship. Also, candidates must send all necessary documentation to the institution, including:

The educational institution will select candidates according to its criteria and according to ADB criteria and if it is necessary to request additional information from the candidates.

ADB will reconsider the candidates who will be selected by the educational institutions and will recommend the laureates for approval of the scholarship by the ADB's executive director of Japan.

ADB will report on the decision of the executive director to educational institutions.

After that the educational institutions will contact the candidates and take the necessary measures to start the educational process.

After the candidates sign the agreement that they will return to their homeland after the end of the training, the candidates will be able to start training.

ADB will send a congratulatory letter to all participants of the scholarship program.
