The Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi held a scientific and methodological round table organized by the Department of General linguistics of the faculty of Philology and world languages.

The event "Olzhas Suleimenov: etymology of the word" was held at a high level with the participation of scientists of our faculty, as well as scientists of the Institute of linguistics named after Akhmet Baitursynov.

Dean of the faculty, Professor Omirhan Abdimanuly opened the meeting, during which the doctor of philological sciences , Professor Berikbai Sagyndykovich and doctor of philological sciences, Professor Gulmira Madiyeva in their speech, presented and told about the work of Olzhas Suleimenov on the topic "Introduction to ecology".

So, within the framework of this topic were presented valuable feedback of undergraduates, doctoral students, as well as professional and teaching staff.
