         Yesterday, our country successfully completed another important political event - the presidential election campaign of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and decided to step into another new milestone of "New Kazakhstan".     It has been a few weeks since the head of the republic, Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, was solemnly sworn in as the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and began his official duties. The inauguration ceremony of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who won the presidential election with a majority of votes, was celebrated as usual in the Palace of Independence in Astana with the presence of state symbols such as the blue flag, the presidential flag, and the Constitution, and in accordance with the rules of international protocol, the masses witnessed the fact that it was celebrated with the utmost solemnity and solemnity."I solemnly swear to faithfully serve the people of Kazakhstan, to strictly observe the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to guarantee the rights and freedoms of citizens, to faithfully fulfill the honorable duty assigned to me by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the head of the country swore in front of his audience in the state Kazakh language. Singing of the national anthem, firing of cannons in front of the palace, etc. fulfillment of attributive rules - proved that the President of Kazakhstan officially took office.    In general, no matter what the election is, it plays an important role in determining the future of the country and in its development strategy, the period of maturity, and the path to maturity. Constructive dialogue between the government and the people, mutual trust, the country's spiritual and moral potential, trade and economic well-being, the possibility of implementing projects aimed at achieving the goals of sustainable development - everything will be directly related to the responsibility of the object of choice of each citizen during the election.   It can be said that the vote of every citizen gathered during the election was given because of the results experienced in the life of our people and their faith in the future. In recent years, under the leadership of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, extensive work has been carried out in the country within the framework of the concept of "New Kazakhstan". Currently, there are few areas where the process of renewal has not started. Great opportunities have been created for the development of remote areas and villages in the regions of the country, for the expansion of industry and public services, and the gate of free development has been opened wide. Practical efficiency, increasing human capital have become the main goals of the new Kazakhstani reforms. Social programs for different groups are being implemented. A lot of attention was paid to the humanization and development of science and education.    Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokaev says that it is necessary to always be on the path of development, keeping the best trends of the domestic education system. It is often said that the key to Kazakhstan's inclusion in the ranks of developed countries is quality, accessible and modern education. For this, he also notes the importance of giving a new, powerful impetus to the development of this industry. In July of last year, the long-awaited law on granting academic freedom and financial autonomy to universities was adopted. The number of foreign students increased by 9 thousand, which made up 4 percent of all applicants.   The Department of Turkic Studies and Linguistic Theory of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, the head of the Kazakh Science and Higher School, supports the direction and political vision of the new president of Kazakhstan, as well as his messages that the period of transferring general science and knowledge to a new format has arrived. In the field of science and higher education aimed at taking a strategic step into the future, we would like to convey that we fully take on the responsibility of educating the new generation trusted by our President Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev, and we are ready to accept new approaches to the development of our country.

Response to the speech of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K-J. K. Tokaev

On November 26, 2022, the inauguration took place - a solemn ceremony of the official inauguration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, in his speech, announced the strategic directions for the development of the state, among the priorities is the development of youth policy and support for young people as the future of the country. During his speech, the President emphasized the role of our youth: “In order to be at the forefront of advanced states, we need to become a nation that not only learns, but can also teach others. We must not only use what others have created, but also give the world our own discoveries and achievements. And for this, our people have the potential, and talent, and skills. I am proud of our dynamic and progressive-minded youth. Therefore, I am ready to repeat the words of the poet Magzhan Zhumabaev: "I believe in youth." Indeed, we all need to support the youth! It is the younger generation that will open the way to a brighter future for our country. But in order to succeed, young people need to work tirelessly, strive for new knowledge and experience. Only in this case they will become true professionals in their field, will be in demand and respected, and will benefit society” [1].
In this regard, graduates of schools and universities face the main choice - obtaining a specialty, which, in turn, largely determines the future life of a person.
The largest university in the country - Al-Farabi Kazakh National University united the most progressive youth within its walls, the university trains future specialists in the most popular specialties. Thus, 16 faculties, 68 departments, 97 production branches, 8 research institutes, 29 research centers and technology parks are successfully functioning at KazNU. Today, the university implements more than 500 educational programs for undergraduate, graduate, doctoral studies, which offer students modern academic disciplines and programs tailored to the requirements of the time and the labor market. It is no coincidence that KazNU became the first university in Central Asia, which ranks 201-250 out of 550 universities in the Graduate Employability Rankings [2].
The main value of any state are people, citizens of this country. The younger generation of KazNU are undergraduate students, undergraduates and doctoral students - future specialists of a new formation, they must build and correctly evaluate professional activities, taking into account the challenges of the time, adopt the best domestic and foreign experience in their field of knowledge. As the President noted, “If we want to become a just state, we must objectively assess the past and learn from it. "Learn the good, stay away from the bad." This rule must be adhered to by the state aspiring to the future.
Patriotism, curiosity, solidarity and mercy are the true values ​​of the country and our university. Al-Farabi KazNU rushes into the future, confidently builds the present, respects and honors the traditions of the past.
