Posco International Corporation has been supporting and providing scholarships to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University students since 2007. We are glad to announce about the 14^thCall for POSCO Asia Fellowship, which is intended for highly talented students with creative potential to grow as leaders in the field of their study interest.   

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:

-        Any undergraduate student in the 2^nd,3^rd,4^th year of their studies, except students of arts and physical education; 

-        Students enrolled at the University on Government grants are not allowed to participate in the Call; 

-        English language is obligatory.

THE COMPETITION TAKES PLACE IN FOUR STAGES:

1.  DOCUMENT SCREENING - Deadline: September 15, 2020

Students are required to send CV (in the attached format) and transcripts to Posco International Corporation Almaty office (kamilla@poscointl.com). 

1.  INTERVIEW:

Interview for selected studentsis heldin Englishtotest their speaking skills.

(date of interview will be announced individually)

1.  ESSAY(will be held this year if  circumstances permit):

Essay writing in Englishis conductedamong the applicants to test their writing skills and analytical thinking. The topic of the essay will be given at the date of the essay; students will have 30 minutes for writing.

1.  FINAL DECISION

Selected students for POSCO Asia Fellowship will be supportedwith 800 USD/year.

 In addition, students, who receive scholarship from POSCO, will be awarded with anopportunity to have paid internship and privilege to work atPosco International Corporation Almaty Office.
