We invite you to take part in the traditional international scientific-methodological conference "XIІ Orazbayev Readings" on the topic: "The historical and cultural heritage of ancient and traditional societies of Central Asia: problems of study, interpretation and preservation."

On April 18, 2020, a field seminar is scheduled to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Issyk “Golden Man” and the 85th anniversary of the famous archeologist B.N. Nurmukhanbetov with a trip to the State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum«Issyk».

Conference will be held in the following thematic areas:

• Ancient and medieval archeology of Eurasia;
• General and relevant issues of ethnic history and ethnocultural processes;
• Memories and thoughts about outstanding archeologists and ethnologists
• Field materials of archaeological and ethnographic expeditions;
• Methods for the study, preservation and museumification of historical and cultural heritage;
• Interdisciplinary methods in historical disciplines;
• Modern methods and approaches in archeology and ethnology.

The working languages of the conference are Kazakh, English, Russian.

ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS

Texts of reports up to 15 pages long (main text, bibliography, captions to figures and tables) should be presented in the form of a * .doc, * docx.format file. Font Times New Roman 12 size; interval - single; all fields - 20 mm. Indentation of the red line: 0.5 cm. Drawings and illustrations of up to 7 copies in jpg or tiff format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi are accepted. Illustrations, graphs and charts are black and white, without color or gray elements and small (solid) fills. References in the text to figures and tables are given in parentheses according to the following sample (Fig. 1, 3; 2, 4), (Table 1).

The text of the article is made out according to the principle: on the top - the surname and initials on the right; lower after the clearance in 1 interval - in the center the title of the article in capital letters; below, after a gap of 1 interval - text from the red line. References to the literature are placed in parentheses in the text (surname, year of publication, page). For example: (Omarov, 2014, p. 15-20). In the case of references to collective work, up to the first three names should be indicated (Margulan, Akishev, Kadyrbayev, 1966, p. 97). The list of references is made in the end of the text in alphabetical order.

An abstract in English is given at the end of the report. The abstract includes the name and initials of the author / authors, the title of the article and text of no more than 300 words, keywords (font size 12).

Materials that are not relevant to the topic of the conference and formatted not in accordance with the requirements, sent later than the deadline, by decision of the Organizing Committee are not included in the collectionof scientific works.
