Associated professorMambetova Manshuk Kudaybergenkyzy – Deputy Head of Chair on Academic and Educational Issues, works in this department from 2004. Defended candidates dissertation on “Ресми-іскери тілдегі клише тұлғалары” (supervisor E.D. Suleimenova; Almaty, 2005);

Associated professor Zaira Aikynovna Mukanova – a specialist on classic and Slavic philology – works in this department since 1994, got the candidate’s degree on “Another language expressions in works of Ch. Valihanov” (Supevisor N.Zh. Shaimerdenova; Almaty, 2001). with an associated professor A.H. Azamatova was written the first books in republic on “Latin language”. A book for sciences faculties (Almaty, 1998) and “Latin language and bases of scientific terminology”. A book for sciences faculties (Almaty, 2002). An associated professor Z.A. Mukanova – organizer of professional holiday “Tyl tynysy” for students of “Applied lingustics” and “Linguistics”. During that holiday, students of 1st course develop the main tendencies of educational and scientific activities of teachers, discuss reasonable problems of linguistics as a science and other problems of study linguistic and applied courses of educational disciplines.

Associated professor, Tausogarova Ayauzhan Kairatovna – a specialist concerning the problems of poetic syntax, linguistic text, forensic-liguistic examination. She works in department of general linguistics since 2004. She defended the candidates on theme «Syntax peculiarities of poetry texts» (2000). The author of the book «Syntax peculiarities of poetry texts» (2004), “Significant problems of sociolinguistics” (2006). She has more than 30 works and she is a member of KAZTRL since 2005.

Associated professor Ariya Hasievna Azamatova – a specialist on classic and Slavic philology – from 1995 works in this department; defended candidates dissertation on “Greek-Latin base of internalization of diplomatic terminology”(supervisor E.D. Suleimenova; Almaty, 2001); Doctors dissertation was written on “Metalanguage of linguistics: semantics, pragmatics” (2008) – A.H. Azamatova – an author of monography “Metalanguage of linguistics”; with an associated professor Z.A. Mukanova was written the first books in republic on “Latin language”. A book for sciences faculties (Almaty, 1998) and “Latin language and bases of scientific terminology”. A book for sciences faculties (Almaty, 2002). Scientific success and achievements of A.H. Azamatova were noticed by State Stipend for young and talented scientists (2002-2003).

Associate Professor Saul Bektemirova Bekmuhamedovna specialist on Türkology ethnolinguistics , lingvokul - turologii lexicology - working at the department in 2001 In 2005 she defended her thesis " Kazak tіlіndegі kinomorfizmder " (Almaty , 2005, supervisor prof . RA Avakov ) . Copyright ideographic dictionary "Kazak tіlіndegі kinologiyalyқ ataular beyneler changed " and more than 15 scientific publications on lexicology , etc. Assoc . SB Bektemirova  organizer of the traditional holiday " Tүrkі zhazu meiramy " for 1st year students of the Faculty of Philology . Member KAZPRYAL .

Senior Lecturer Medetbekova Perizat Tuktibaevna - a specialist in applied linguistics, working at the department since 2003. Defended his thesis on "Quantitative parameters connecting unions changed / bin / pen, zhane" (Almaty, 2007, supervisor prof. Suleimenova ED). Author of several scientific publications, is engaged in the field of ethnic and sociolinguistics. Member KAZPRYAL.

Senior lecturer Karagoyshieva Danel Almasbekovna - an expert on experimental phonetics. In 2005 she defended her thesis (supervisor PhD, prof. Suleimenova ED).
