Department of Political Science prepares highly qualified professional political scientists. Political science students study disciplines relevant to the profession such as the theory of politics, the history of political doctrines, political analysis and forecasting, comparative politics, political culture of ideology, political conflict studies, political sociology, geopolitics, current international relations, diplomacy and diplomatic service. In order to acquire practical skills our students start an internship in state authorities from the first year of study.

During internship and research practice Political Science students have an opportunity to prove themselves in Public Opinion Research Centers, in the electoral commissions, in the apparatus of political parties and political organizations, and the mass media. Our graduate – is a certified specialist in political science, an expert in politics competitive in the modern society.
