On January 20 this year at Al-Farabi KazNU Faculty of Oriental Studies, in the Department of Turksoy in the "Center of the History and Culture of Azerbaijan" hosted the "Ambassadorial Hour". The aim of the ambassador hour of Azerbaijan is to strengthen friendly relations between the Kazakh-Azerbaijani peoples, to promote the dissemination of the culture of Turkic-speaking countries, and to develop educational and cultural ties between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and University of Baku.

      Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies PhD Dr. Yktiyar Paltore in his welcoming speech, introduced the purpose of the ambassador hour and greeted the guests and participants.

      Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Rashad Mammadov gave a special lecture for students on the topic “Tragic January” in 1990, shared his thoughts about friendship, cultural dialogue between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, providing Azerbaijani textbooks and fiction, conducting joint scientific conferences and student researchs.

     «Azerbaijan is a country of fire, as a Kazakhstan, all the peoples nations of the world live peacefully! We have the same roots. We all need to work hard to keep our roots strong. I wish you all good health, prosperity, peace and unity!» with these words, the Ambassador concluded his speech. Students asked many questions and exchanged views with the ambassador.

     Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Rashad Mammadov not only expressed gratitude for the “Ambassador Hour” held at the “Center of the History and Culture of Azerbaijan”, but also noted that he will participate in strengthening the relationship between the Kazakh National University and Azerbaijani universities. At the event dedicated to «Ambassadorial Hour» 3rd-year student Tamina Nuriyeva presented a diplomatic presentation entitled “The brotherly country of Azerbaijan,” 4th-year students Sabina Kanalieva and Dilnaz Tulegenova read poetry in Azerbaijan language

     The activity of the embassy plays an important role in the foreign policy of any state, which plays an important role in strengthening mutual cooperation between states. In this regard, the dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies PhD Dr. Y. Paltore thanked Rashad Mammadov Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan who takes part in the development of the education system between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, and handed him a "Letter of thanks
