Memorable meeting with the Korean photographer

The issue of inter-Korean relations and their unification of the Korean Peninsula does disinterested the students of the Department of the Far East, who study the Korean language. And for our students had a good chance, on April 19, 2019 at the Department of the Far East, the photo reporter of the office of the President of the Republic of Korea Kim Jin SOK gave a lecture on the topic: the Situation on the Korean Peninsula through the eyes of a photo reporter. During the lecture, pictures of the meeting of the two leaders of the South and North at the inter-Korean summit, which was held on April 27, 2018 in Panmunjiom, were shown. The picture shows two leaders shaking hands on the military line of demarcation Panmunjiom, and many other interesting photos characterizing the situation of the two countries. After the lecture, an active conversation took place between the students and the photographer the students liked the lecture very much. Mr. Kim Jin SOK was pleasantly surprised by the erudition of our students, namely knowledge of the history of Korea.
