On May 18, 2021, Mr. Ali Akbar Talebi Matin, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Kazakhstan, visited the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to get acquainted with the life of the faculty. The online research seminar/webinar "Religious Practices, Education and Digitalization: Research Methods" was held on April 29, 2021, at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The traditional XIII Republican Olympiad among students of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the discipline "Turkology", organized by the Department of TURKSOY of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University, was held from 26 to 27 April.
