Last year in November was celebration of Turkish Language wieh was dedicated to the 20 th anniversary of the Department Turkic.The event was held as a contest about the traditions and customs of the Turkish nation among first-year students.There are 5 teams:Kazakh team,Uighurs team,Uzbeks team,Kirghiz team and Turkish team.On celebration wer invited famais turkologist PH.D. Professor A.B.Salkinbay,chief editor Samat Ibraim,President of the Uighur Cultural Centre Imenov K,Uighur theater director Shaimeev I,Chief Consul of Turkey in Almaty Mine Kebapcioglu.About thise event was written in the media.
