The research work of students

In 2012, the University administration supported the initiative of the head of the chair of diplomatic translation, professor Altynai Baytukayeva to organize the languages clubs.

Currently four languages clubs function at the Faculty of International Relations; English club, German Club, Spanish and French Club.

The main goals of the clubs are:

- to create the environment for improving language practice of the students;

- to introduce the students to the international relations experience and cooperation with the RK;

- to introduce the students of the International Relations Department to the international educational programmes.

On April 12, at the faculty of international relations was held a party «Тәуелсіздік – тұғырым», devoted to the 22th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan . The party was organized by the students of groups 91 and 93 of international law specialty and teachers L.Duiseeva.

The aim of this event is the educating the youth in the spirit of patriotism and love for the country. It was held in a creative atmosphere. After the report on the history of the Independence students have presented a musical composition which has given to action even more solemn character. Congratulatory words of "foreign visitors» from the different countries which have sounded in different languages became the culmination moment of the event. The director of department for educational work and development of languages G.A.Sarsenbekova has highly appreciated curator hour and has thanked students and the curator-advisers for active participation in the event.

The following evens have held:1) The competition for the best essay on the theme "Kazakhstan - my motherland" (foreign languages) was held. 2) The round table on the theme "The five most important events in the history of independent Kazakhstan" (in English) was held. Devoted to the Independence Day of Republic of Kazakhstan. 4) Competition for the best essay on the theme "Why I chose the Faculty of International Relations?" (in foreign languages) was held. 5) Practical exercises in the form of a round table discussion: "22years of Independence of the RK: achievements and perspectives». 6) Seminar on "Building a multilingual student's personality - like an open door into the international educational space".

Scientific conference of students. “Research work of students in a foreign language”

During the week of science teachers of foreign languages ​​Rahimbaeva R.M. and Zhambylkyzy M. have prepared the following events:

1. Event dedicated to 20th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan "The life of young people in Kazakhstan, the UK, the USA, France, Spain and Germany".

2. Conference on "Research work of Students" in foreign languages. Second bachelor's student’s conference in foreign languages dedicated to the 21th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The conference was held on April 20, 2011 at 14:00 Room 809. Many students took part at this conference. During the conference, they discussed in foreign languages issues of regional security, the issues of Kazakhstan's position in the integration process, the role of UNESCO for the protection of human rights, the political situation in North Africa and many other issues. Also the students have presented a variety of presentations.
