Today, on November, 5, 2012 on the base of CSCA (Central Sporting Club of the Army) started military sports marathon “Power in us” the organizers of that are Management of domestic policy of Administration (Akimat) of Алматы City and Public Funds "Youth Center", " Initiative".

This measure passed within the framework of project "Creation of the center on development of volunteering and military-patriotic education among the youth".

A competition passed on the next stages:

- running on 100 meters and cross-country race on 3км;

-disassembling and assembling of submachine-gun АК- 74;

-donning the protective means –arms protective kit;

-strength exercise (push- ups and press);

-4 staged militarized relay race .

During the week the best students of military department prepared to the competitions under the direction of teachers - curators.

In the most persistent fight the students of al-Farabi Kazakh national university showed their will to victory and mastery, and the result was the occupation of the first place among the commands of universities of city. Cup and valuable prize, honorary diplomas from the organizers of competitions took the deserving place in the military department.
