In accordance with the instructions of the Rector of KazNU named after al-Farabi academician G.М. Mutanov about a clear organization in conducting distance learning of students under quarantine, the military department of the university organized planned and focused work to solve the problems of preparing students in remote mode.

By the decision of the head of the military department, candidate of pedagogical sciences, reserve colonel O.V. Azhimov an operational group was formed from among the chiefs of the cycles to control and monitor the quality and frequency of distance learning. The curators of training platoons under the Training Program and online timetable conduct lectures, consultations, seminars, each student receives a task to work out various reporting documents on the topics being studied. On behalf of the head of the military department, curators of training platoons contact students daily, monitoring not only the progress of the assignments, but also clarifying their health status and moral and psychological mood.

To monitor the work of teachers and communication with them, several chats have been created. The teaching staff of the military department is in constant contact with the leadership and the trade union committee. In order to strengthen the morale and psychological state of employees, the trade union committee interactively holds various contests and surveys, for example, on March 29 and 30 a competition was held for knowledge of domestic films, as well as at the initiative of reserve colonel A.A. Elmukhambetov launched online flash mob "Positive Poems".

The positive attitude of all the employees of the military department indicates that, thanks to optimism and focused work, all the difficulties facing our society today will be overcome.
