In December, 11, 2019 in the military department of the Kazakh national university of the name of al-farabi the solemn measure sanctified to the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Day is conducted.

A solemn measure was conducted in a new format. Celebration in honour of veterans of the Armed Forces and labour was conducted in the first part. By deeds on behalf of guidance of university and chief of the military department of colonel Azhimov О.V. the veterans of the Armed Forces were the recipients of an award colonel of supply of Muzdybaev R.Т., Ihanbaev B.М., lieutenant., lieutenant colonel of supply Bilyk V.P., major of supply Kusaynov B.Sh., veterans of labour of Beysetbaeva A.А. and Kushumov А.К. To the row of teachers and students of military department's gratitude was declared.

In the second part of measure the students of a military department, student on the military - registration speciality "Military journalism", showed a presentation-concert "My Motherland is Kazakhstan"!, during that the stages of becoming of the Kazakh state system were shown. Brightly and the verses of the great Kazakh poets, songs of soldiery years and musical compositions of the end of 20 sounded heartfelt. A measure came to an end by execution by all participants of the song "My Kazakhstan"!

It is necessary to add that in a threshold celebration of Independence Day by the guidance of military departments and teaching staff realization of centre organizing public lectures was organized "My Motherland is Kazakhstan"! for students studying in a military department, for students the specialized lyceum of "Arystan", gymnasia are Self-knowledge of the national center "Bobek" and schoolchildren of city Almaty

In all in lecture halls more than 200 students of military department took part and more than 400 students.
