2021 From November 30, 2020 to January 20, 2021 in Beijing city (China), a competition was held to dub Chinese films and television works among foreigners. The competition is organized by the Chinese Center for Foreign Languages in cooperation with the Central Radio and Television, the “Chinese Bridge” Club and the Chinese Language Alliance. The Department Chinese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was awarded the nomination "Best Organization". 2 teachers and 21 students of the Department of Chinese Studies were awarded the title of "Best dubbing actor". 2020 As part of the celebration of the International Day of the Hindi Language, the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center at the Embassy of the Republic of India in Kazakhstan, along with the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi KazNU, organized a Hindi Language Competition in two nominations: a poetry competition and an essay competition. The winners of the competitions received certificates and cash prizes from the Indian Cultural Center named after Swami Vivekananda. 2018 In the annual Republican Olympiad on the specialty "Oriental studies", which was held between the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the following students became winners: I place - Murzageldina Laura. KBS has selected five distinguished overseas Koreans as the recipients of the 18th KBS Overseas Compatriots Award. Among the five figures selected are Professor German Kim of the Al-Farabi University in Kazakhstan. KBS said it included German Kim among the award recipients to recognize his significant contribution to promoting Korean studies in Kazakhstan and carrying out research on the history of emigration of ethnic Koreans to Kazakhstan. The ceremony for giving out the award will be held on March 5 of next year. |
