Student union "Sunkar" protects rights and interests of students (in collaboration with the administration) under the terms of accruals of social grants, provision of material assistance from the scholarship fund, or living in hostels, economic and technical support of the educational process, etc., organized as far as possible free legal consultation, providing assistance to orphanages of Almaty, provides students with concessionary travel passes for public transport, stamps in plant nutrition and discount tickets to SOL Al-Farabi KazNU.

Scientific Student Society (SSS) - a voluntary association of students actively engaged in research work. SSS provides assistance to students in their research and practical work, making student life really interesting.

Student construction brigades (SCB) - a voluntary association of students, designed to assist in the construction and maintenance at spare time.
