According to approved MES RK the plan and realized in Kazakh National University of al-Farabi the program «Involvement of foreign experts» the chair of Russian philology, Russian and world literature of faculty of philology, literary criticism and world languages invited Doctor of Philology, professor A.L.Sharandin (Russia, the Tambov state university of Derzhavin) for lecturing at the rate of modern Russian and carrying out consultations for undergraduates and PhD-doctoral candidates (on December 1-10, 2011) ; Doctor of Philology, professor E.Yu.Ilyinova, Doctor of Philology, professor E.V.Terentyev, Candidate of Philology, assistant professor A.N.Shovgenina (Russia, Volgograd state university: Institute of philology and intercultural communication) for lecturing and carrying out consultations at courses «Ecolinguistic monitoring of the region», «Actual problems of the theoretical English grammar» (in English), «Compensatory processes in the history of Russian (Slavic) verb», «Information technologies in transfer» (on December 19-24, 2011).
The called courses reflect results of the last researches of the actual directions in linguistics and are focused on all specialties of faculty of philology, literary criticism and world languages.
The chair for many years fruitfully cooperates with professor A.L.Sharandin: it was a part of dissertational council of faculty of philology, literary criticism and world languages, represented itself as the opponent on protection of master's and doctoral dissertations, at present is the research supervisor of the PhD-doctoral candidate. From 1995 A.L.Sharandin – the vice-president of public organization «Russian association of linguists-cognitivists», the editor-in-chief of the magazine «Questions of cognitive linguistics», scientific and the editor-in-chief of a number of monographs, manuals and collections of works. Since 2001 – the director of Institute of philology.
On May 11, 2011 the contract on cooperation between Kazakh National University of al-Farabi and Volgograd state university was signed. The purpose of the present contract – interaction strengthening between staff of the Kazakh national university of al-Farabi and the Volgograd state university in the fields of education, sciences and cultures. For realization of this purpose it is solved:
- to promote an exchange of scientists, doctoral candidates, graduate students (PhD-doctoral candidates), students;
- to render mutual aid in increase of pedagogical and scientific qualification of scientists and teachers;
- to promote extension of information on methodical development, training programs, publications and materials of scientific researches of employees;
- to exchange experience in development of the advanced methods of training and youth education;
- to organize joint symposiums, seminars and conferences, to publish collections of scientific works;
- to inform the public on joint activity.
Within this contract teachers of the Volgograd state university not only will read lectures, but also the culture of Russian business language and the Russian-Kazakh intercultural communication», carried out by teachers of the Volgograd state university and Kazakh National University of al-Farabi, financed by the Russian fund «Russian world» will carry out monitoring of target audience (students-bilinguists) for further implementation of the international joint project

The public educational institution to the highest professional education «The Volgograd state university» (Russian Federation) in the person of rector Inshakov Oleg Vasilyevich and the Republican state enterprise on the right of economic maintaining «The Kazakh national university of al-Farabi» (Republic of Kazakhstan) in the person of rector Mutanov Galimkair Mutanovich agreed about the following basic principles of cooperation:
Article 1
The purpose of the present contract is interaction strengthening between staff of the Volgograd state university and the Kazakh national university of al-Farabi (further – the parties) in the fields of education, sciences and cultures.
Article 2
For realization of this purpose of the party agree:
to promote an exchange of scientists, doctoral candidates, students, and also bachelors, undergraduates and PhD-doctoral candidates;
to render mutual aid in increase of pedagogical and scientific qualification of scientists and teachers;
to promote extension of information on methodical development, training programs, publications and materials of scientific researches of employees;
to exchange experience in development of the advanced methods of training and youth education;
to organize joint symposiums, seminars and conferences, to publish collections of scientific works;
to realize (in the presence of mutual interest) scientific and educational programs and projects on the terms of joint financing or at the expense of the foreign involved means; to inform the public on joint activity.
Article 3
The parties agree that financial conditions of cooperation for everyone about actions will be separately defined.
Article 4
Each of the parties agrees to operate in interests of other party for the purpose of assistance to development of scientific contacts and cooperation worldwide within available possibilities.
Article 5
The present Contract is made in duplicate, and both have equal force.
Article 6
Both parties have the right to make changes to the present Contract which come into force after approval by their both parties by the corresponding protocol or the memorandum.
Article 7
The present Contract comes into force from the date of signing and 5 years operate. If during this time any of the parties in writing didn't declare a withdrawal from a treaty, it automatically lasts the next 5 years.

AGREEMENT
about cooperation between «Kazakh national university of a name of al-Farabi»
(Republic of Kazakhstan)
and the Tambov state university of Derzhavin
(Russian Federation)
The republican state enterprise on the right of economic maintaining «The Kazakh national university of a name of al-Farabi» the Ministries of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the person of the first vice rector, professor Burkitbayev Mukhambetkali Myrzabayevich, on the one hand, and the Tambov state university of. Derzhavin, in the person of the vice rector on scientific work of professor Boldyrev Nikolay Nikolaevich, on the other hand { further in common called "Parties", or separately "Party"), in view of the partner and close international relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, recognizing need of development of the further bilateral relations between two countries in educational and scientific spheres of cooperation, wishing to make the contribution to cooperation development between two educational institutions in aforementioned spheres, concluded the present Cooperation agreement (further the Agreement) on the following provisions.
Article 1
On the basis of principles of mutual benefit and respect of independence of the Party will stimulate:
exchange of employees and teachers of universities;
exchange of students of a bachelor degree, magistracy and doctoral studies;
development and realization of joint educational programs, including double diplomas providing delivery;
joint research activity;
organization of the academic meetings and symposiums;
the publication of articles, reports and other scientific works of members of the faculty, students and the staff of university in partner university periodicals;
exchange of scientific information, publications, materials and knowledge;
other forms of educational and scientific cooperation which will be coordinated by both Parties.
With a view of realization of the specified forms of cooperation representatives of faculties and institutes of both universities can advise each other and develop special plans of cooperation in everyone or in all above-mentioned spheres of cooperation.
Article 2
Realization conditions of each cooperation program, as a part of the agreement, must be coordinated and approved by both universities by means of making several separated agreements before starting realization of each program. These separated agreements will clearly describe the functions and kinds of activity to be undertaken, timetable, personal profiles, terms of financing, rights and obligations of each side, and the documents necessary to define the objectives and areas of cooperation within the framework of each program.
Article 3
It is implied that all actions under the agreement approved by the heads of each university and meet the scientific and financial requirements of both universities. The results of joint research, including, but not limited to intellectual property rights, should be used fairly and honestly, by means of consultations between the sides.
Article 4
During the execution of the Agreement sides are guided by the legislation of the country of their incorporation, and undertake to comply with interstate agreements on cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.
All kinds of cooperation mentioned in Article 1 must be performed in accordance with all laws, rules and regulations of the country in which those types of cooperation will be implemented.
Article 5
The Agreement must enter into force upon signature by the authorized representatives of both universities, and must remain in force until terminated by one of the sides by means of notifying the other side. Notice of termination of the Agreement must be given not less than six months before the intended date of termination. Regardless of the termination of the Agreement, the sides must continue to perform its obligations till the moment when all the participants who began studying on an exchange program before the date of termination, will complete studying. The agreement can be amended at any time by mutual assent of the sides.
Article 6
Agreement is made in duplicate in the English language, having the same effect, one for each side.
