From March, 28th till April, 2nd 2011 held «The Week of the English Language», organized by the chair of foreign philology of the philological faculty. It was attended by students of specialties "Foreign philology" and "Two foreign languages." They showed the knowledge in competition «English Language Contest». This competition consisted of two parts: 1) to write own statement on the heard text; 2) creative projects on certain themes. This kind of competition intended to show presentations on holidays and festivals of different countries, my idol, modern wonders of the world.
On the lastdayof the contestwinnerswereawarded with certificatesandconsolation prize,alsoreceived commemorativecalendarsgifts.
The end of theceremonycontinued witha concertorganized bystudents ofthe 1stand2nd coursein English,Germanand French languages. In addition,speciallymadepapers wereawarded by prizes in nomination «the Best wall-paper» and became a competition ornament.
Asa resultof the competition the firsttookKoshutskayaL.A.Tynybekovaandsecond placeIsmailov, A., AshlyaevaM.Rakhimov, D. and J.Tekebayev, and among thestudentsof 2-course the first place took RysbekovAD, and the second - KshenovaA.
