Department of Archaeology, Ethnology and Museology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University invites you to participate in the traditional republic scientific-practical conference «IV Orazbaev reading» on theme: «Challenges and achievements of  the country Archaeology and Ethnology in the XXI Century» marking the 90th anniversary of A.M. Orazbayev. Conference will pass at Almaty on April, 26-27th, 2012.

         Discussion of problems is planned for conferences in following directions: 

• ·        Theoretical and methodical aspects in archeology and ethnology;
• ·        Results and problems of studying of the Stone Age of Eurasia;
• ·        Material and spiritual culture of ancient and medieval nomads of the Central Asia and adjacent regions;
• ·        Urbanization, localization and material culture of medieval cities of Kazakhstan and adjacent regions;
• ·        Historical ethnology;
• ·        General and pressing questions of ethnic history and ethnocultural процесов in modern Kazakhstan;
• ·        Studying, preservation, museefication and propagation of archaeological monuments;
• ·       

       Conference working languages – Kazakh, Russian, English.

       Expenses of participants are financed at the expense of the arriving party.

The edition of the scientific collection of materials of conference is planned.

       For participation in the conference is necessary to send the application for participation in the reading and thesis of report to the address of Orgcomittee till March, 20th, 2012.

The requirements to the reports

     Texts of reports in volume to 10 pages in the Kazakh or Russian or English languages (the basic text, the list of references, signatures to drawings and tables) should move in the form of a format file *.doc, *. docx. It is recommended to use type Times New Roman, 14 type, 1 interval, internal of the pages: up-2 cm, down-2 cm, left-2 cm, right-2cm. From above First name, last name the author, more low, the name and the location of establishment, more low, degree, an academic status.

       Pages aren't numbered. Bibliographic references in the text are given in square brackets with number instructions under the list of sources and literatures and page instructions (for example, [1, 25 p.]). In the end of article the list of references as use is located. The bibliographic description of the publication should include all data about the literature. Are accepted illustrations in 2 copies in a format jpg or tiff with the permission not less than 300 dpi.

     Materials should are precisely coincide with requirements of registration of reports. Materials conferences not coinciding to a theme and not issued on demand, sent after the specified term, under the Organizing committee decision aren't included into the collection. For quality of article responsibility is born by the author.
