The senior lecturer of chair of foreign philology and general linguistics c.p.s Mustafin G. K investigates testing problems as effective remedy of control of knowledge of the future teachers of English language.

Testing problems occupy recently one of leading places in scientific researches on pedagogics of different directions.

Research objective is the theoretical substantiation and practical realization of pedagogical testing in the course of training of students of a speciality: the teacher of English language, for an intensification of educational process and improvement of quality of preparation of the future teachers of English language.

Key and priority problem of modernization of the Kazakhstan formation is formation of improvement of quality. In this connection questions of learning efficiency with use of the scientifically-proved methods of an external and internal estimation of the competence of the trained are staticized. Hence, the new impulse has development of estimated methods in training system. Introduction and perfection of evaluated-estimated methods is connected with expansion of use of pedagogical testing in the country, not only at receipt in a higher educational institution, but also at delivery of uniform national testing graduates of high schools. At carrying out of the state certification of higher educational institutions, intermediate state control of students of 2 and 3 courses testing as evaluated-estimated means for definition of educational achievements of students in various subjects and various specialities also is used. The system of pedagogical testing is one of the basic components of national system of an estimation of quality of formation. Now it is possible to ascertain that testing has received wide recognition in our country and became the standard form both flowing, and total control.

For today conditions for purposeful use of test control in educational process are created. Results of testing allow to provide feedback in management of formation and to create conditions for personal development of students. Testing has many positive sides and is in direct conformity with spirit of the basic pedagogical and psychological ideas of the present and the tendencies observed in an intensification of educational process as a whole. Tests help to estimate objectively knowledge of students and to compare quality of training in various high schools. But, unfortunately, not all traditional tests can estimate results of pedagogical process properly.

It is necessary to have means of revealing of interests and abilities of students. It is necessary to be able to watch advancement of students to the purpose that if it is required, to undertake adequate correctional actions. Tests help students to define, what exactly they have learned, and how they differ from other students.
