This information is presented and analyzed in this section: 1) presenter of the scientific - research work. In 2009 the teaching staff of the faculty consists of 158 people and among them there are 10 Doctors of Sciences, 15 Professors, 38 Candidates of Sciences, 17 Assistant Professors and 27 lecturers. In 2010 the total number of the teaching staff was 200, among them there are 120 staff workers, 8 Doctors of Sciences, 19 Professors, 28 Candidates of Sciences and 16 Assistant Professors. In 2011 the teaching staff consists of 300 members. There are 37 Doctors of Sciences, 40 Professors, 60 Candidates of Sciences, 46 Assistant Professors and 5 Doctors of PhD. 2) the scientific - research work of teachers, including the actual directions sponsored by Ministry and other State organizations, by International Funds and organizations. Today Faculty of Philology, Literary Studies and World Languages is the centre of philological science in Kazakhstan, because the results of several researches can be qualified as the decision of several big scientific problems, which are of great social-cultural value for spiritual enrichment and development of society. The results of the scientific - research work are actively involved in educational process by the teachers of departments and they are spread as public lectures, lessons with students, standard and usual programme, educational and methodical grants and recommendations, course works, dissertations, as students preparation to international, Republican and university scientific conferences.
In 2008-2011 the teaching staff took part in applied scientific research of Ministry of Education and Science in the frame of programme “The national idea as base of development of Kazakhstan” – “The national idea and its artistic realization in Kazakh literature from ancient times till today”, and in 2009-2011 they took part in project “The national image of the world in the Literature of independent Kazakhstan”.
