At philosophy and political science faculty following centres of science function:
1. The Center «Cultural heritage of Al-Farabi» (prof. Altaev Z.A.)
2. The Center of gender researches (the prof. Ahmetov G. K, associate professor Shedenova N.U.)
3. The Center of ethnopsychological researches (prof. Zharikbaev Ж)
At faculty following laboratories function:
● «Laboratory on psychology» at the chair of general and ethnic psychology.
● «Laboratories on sociology and social work for students, master’s degree, PhD students» at chair of sociology and social work.
● «Laboratory of problems of the higher school» at the chair of general and ethnic pedagogics.
On base «Laboratories on sociology» in 2010 the «Center of social researches and social engineering» was founded.
