Chair staff and students of the department sincerely congratulate Professor KB Bekishev with the rank of Best University Lecturer- 2014.

In 2001 Prof. Nurakhmetov N.N. was awarded by State prize in field of science, techniques and education for elaboration of 31 –volume of scientific Kazakh-Russian and Russian-Kazakh terminological dictionaries.

The NATO Science Partnership Prize for 2007 have been awarded to scientists from Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom for excellent collaboration in a NATO-sponsored project on radiological study in Kazakhstan. Professor M Burkitbayev (Kazakhstan) and Professor N Priest (UK) have received the prize for their work assessing radioactive contamination at the nuclear test site at Semipalatinsk, Kazakhstan, which was operated by the former Soviet Union.

The outstanding activities of chair staff were appropriately appreciated. This said that six of our lecturers (Prof. Burkitbayev M.M., Prof. Nurakhmetov N.N., Prof. Abramova G.V., Prof. Tanasheva , Prof. Kuanysheva, Associate Prof. Bekishev K.B. ) are a State Grant “The best teacher of Kazakhstan” owner.

Young scientists (Uralbekov B.M. and Matveeva I.V.) were awarded by STEP stipends of International Center of theoretical physics (Italy).
