Faculty of Oriental studies performs a great job in educating students and training future professionals, specially the formation of humanity qualities. The most important aspect of educational work is self-government and student activities. There are three social-educational organizations of students Students’ Council “Maslihat” Students’ Union “Sunkar” Chairman of students’ maslikhat is Suleimenova A., Chairman of the Students’ Council is Zhanseitova M. (1 year), chairman of the students’ union is Bekzhanova Akbota. (2 courses). Self-organization of students, such as students’ council ( stud.sovet ) maslikhat and Sunkar "play a huge role in educational life of the faculty. The dormitory of students hosts various events organized by student council. Particularly marked Constitution Day, Independence Day, New Year, Nowruz and the Victory Day. Has already become a tradition meeting of teachers and heads of departments with students in the Dormitory.They also discusse the annual Message of the President of Kazakhstan.

Students’ council organizes in the faculty various of meetings, competitions, exhibitions, games and competitions in the field of knowledge. Holiday "Student Spring" helps students discover their talents, and the contest "Super Student" provides an opportunity to the students to show their abilities. Organization of the activities engaged in by Maslikhat. Among these talented students there are dombra players and singers, and tantsovshitsy, and performers of original genres. Students’ union "Sunkar" is engaged to solve the social problems of the Faculty. "Sunkar’s” responsibility is to get assistance and deliver to the students from poor family."Sunkar" has been providing financial assistance to children's homes, arranging social events. As well as providing financial assistance for cultural activities of the faculty.
