Since 1992 the faculty has passed on two-level, since 2005 - to three-stage training. The faculty prepares for bachelors on five specialities:

Chemical technology of organic substances
Chemical technology of inorganic substances
Safety of ability to live and protection of an environment.
In a magistracy and doctoral studies experts on following specialities prepare:
·Chemistry
·Chemical technology of organic substances
Chemistry (educational)
Chemical technology of inorganic substances
Chemical technology of explosives and pyrotechnic means
Ecology
Petrochemistry.
Term of training on all specialities of a bachelor degree 4 years, in a magistracy 1; 1,5; 2 years, in doctoral studies 3 years. Training to all specialities are spent in the Kazakh and Russian languages.
