Research works and laboratory researches at chemical faculty are spent in laboratories of 8 chairs, Center of physical and chemical methods of research and analysis, Scientific research institute of new chemical technologies and materials and Institute of Combustion problems, equipped by modern devices and the equipment.

In 2010 has been accredited Center of physical and chemical methods of research and analysis in system of accreditation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Instrument base of the Center - one of the largest in Kazakhstan: gas chromatograph Agilent 6890/5973N (USA), mass-spectrometers with inductive-connected plasma Agilent 7500 (USA), highly effective liquid chromatograph with diode-matrix detector Agilent 1100 series (USA), ИК-Furie spectrometer Thermo Nicolet IR-200 (USA), atomic absorption spectrometer Shimadzu (Japan), X-ray-fluorescent spectrometer Spectroscan (Russia).

In 2008 the laboratory of radiating ecology received the state license for granting of services in the field of use of an atomic energy and the state license for the reference with sources of an ionizing radiation. In 2009 the laboratory of radiating ecology is accredited till February, 9th, 2011 In laboratory of radiating ecology are available: a spectrometer of beta-radiation Tri-Carb 3100 TR, a spectrometer of alpha radiation Alpha Analyst, a spectrometer scale-radiation - ORTEC GEM-FX7025-S, alpha-beta-radiometer УМФ-2000, dosimeter-radiometer ДКС-96, alpha-beta-radiometer УМФ-2000.

Due to means of project ISTC-К-1199 for chair of inorganic chemistry the laboratory of inorganic knitting materials is created.

On the chair of analytical chemistry and chemistry of rare elements are available: analyzers of the frequency response, electrochemical gauge "Module E", liquid chromatograph with amperometric detecting.

In the laboratory of physical and chemical methods of research and the analysis there is x-ray spectral device "Microfocus", the device for definition of porosity and a specific surface «Sorbtometer",

The list of the equipment of the chair of physical chemistry and electrochemistry, as a whole, material equipment of laboratories of faculty allows to carry out scientific researches. Are available spectrophotometers (SF-26, SF-46), spectrometers (UR-20, Specord IR-75),. For carrying out of quant-chemical researches on faculty are available modern computers with the corresponding software.

On the chair of organic chemistry and chemistry of natural compounds in scientific researches are used: electronic and analytical balances, UV-spectrometer (SF-26, SF-56), the IR-spectrometer (UR-75, IR-Furie), rotor evaporators, centrifuge, chromatographs.
