Open curatorial hour of doctoral students on the topic "Code of Honor" Doctoral students of the Department of Mechanics of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty Zholdasov E.N., Nurullaev N.M. as part of pedagogical practice, we held an open curatorial hour on the topic “Code of Honor”. Curatorial hour on the topic "Digital Kazakhstan" In the framework of pedagogical practice, the master's student of the Department of mechanics Bekmukanbetova D. D. held an open curatorial hour on the topic "Digital Kazakhstan". The curatorial hour was attended by 3rd year students of the "Mechanics" specialty. The importance and main objectives of the state program "Digital Kazakhstan" were explained. In the course of the open curatorial hour, the students were presented with various life situations in which it was necessary to find the optimal solution with the help of digital technologies. Students in conclusion were divided into two groups to highlight the pros and cons of the program "Digital Kazakhstan". Open curatorial hour on the topic "Love is the basis of life." Within the framework of teaching practice, doctoral students of the Department of Mechanics G. Tukeshov, Merkibaeva B. and Kairov R., conducted an open curatorial hour (11.04.2019) on the topic “Love is the basis of life”. The open lesson was attended by students of the 2nd year of the specialty "Mechanics", curator - advisor Kusembaeva Kuanysh. A competition was held between the three teams. Each team chose a theme: “Love and respect for parents”, “Love and respect for a friend "and "The love of a guy for a girl." The students tried to open the topic, to express their love for their parents, for a friend, for their beloved in the form of stage productions. They sang the song "My Princess".In conclusion, the teams were awarded letters of thanks. At the curatorial hour attended by teachers of the department of mechanics.

Holiday Nauryz April 13 at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University celebrated Nauryz. Each faculty put its own yurt. The Yurt of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics was named «MATEMATIKTER AÝYLY». For distinguished guests, professors, teachers and students of the faculty a rich dastarkhan was covered. They treated guests to a special dish - Nauryz kozhe. They sang songs, played the dombra. Dear aksakals gave a bright blessing to our university, native mechmath, as well as to students. The staff of the Department of Mechanics took an active part in the celebration of Nauryz. The holiday was great!

Ecological clean-up On April 14, the first-year doctoral students of the Department of Mechanics conduct an ecological clean-up on the route of Furmanov Peak which organized as part of the innovation project of the University “Aynalandy nurlandyr”. Students cleared a mountain of garbage. Professor Olivier BOTELLA from the Nansy-Universite (France) also participated in this action. Preserving nature, protecting the environment and maintaining cleanliness is the responsibility of each of us. Every sane person at least once participated in environmental clean-ups will no longer throw garbage and pollute the environment. With this hope, we invite all students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan to support ecological clean-up. We hope that this event aimed at improving a healthy lifestyle and preserving the environment will receive further support! Let's protect the nature! Let's continue the baton "Ecological clean- up!"

The sport event "Faster, stronger and higher!" was held in 27.10.2018 from 14:00 to 17:00 in the sports complex of KazNU. The competition was organized by the Deputy Head of the Mechanics Department D.E. Turalina and 2nd year PhD students. The students from the 6th and 8th dormitories, of the specialty of Mechanics and STT, and curators-advisers Baisbayeva O., Sakhaeva A., Shayakhmetov N., Ibraev A., 2-year PhD students of Mechanics Department Ensebaeva G, Kenzhebaeva M., Kuatova M., Kaimov A., Naukenova A., Tleuberdy A., Madibayuly J. 2-year PhD students of Mechanics Department (), overall more than 100 students participated in the competition. The competition was held in eihth different sports disciplines (mini-football, volleyball, tennis, togyzkumalak, chess, rope pulling, badminton, arm wrestling). 10 teams participated in the mini-football competitions, 4 teams in volleyball, 20 students in tennis, 16 students in chess, 7 students in togyzkumalak, 4 teams in rope pulling, 13 students in badminton, 20 students in arm wrestling. Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty held a meeting with representatives of the Institute of Information Technology COMSATS. They presented the structure of the institute, acquainted with the educational program, discussed issues of cooperation, as well as opportunities to receive scholarships for undergraduates, doctoral candidates, post-doctoral studies and scholarships for teaching staff. The magistracy and doctoral students of the specialty "Mechanics" actively discussed the educational and social life of the institute, asked questions and exchanged information. |

This summer, the doctoral student of the Department of Mechanics of KazNU. al-Farabi Berdenova BA on the educational program was held a foreign internship (10.06.2017-15.08.2017) on the topic of dissertational research in the laboratory of foreign scientific leader Professor B.B. Saha at the International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (WPI-I2CNER) at Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan. During the practice she conducted experimental research on the topic of the thesis, took part in scientific seminars conducted by the laboratory, made presentations on the progress of the work.

PhD doctoral student of 3rd course of the Department of Mechanics Zhilkibaeva Saltanat held research fellow at the US-based University of Bridgeport (Bridgeport, Connecticut) in the spring of 2017. Under the general supervision of its domestic and foreign consultants - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor M. Utenova and Professor T. Sobh conducted research on the topic of his thesis "Development of the method of calculation of prediction strength and stiffness of robotic systems based on distributed dynamic loads." On February 9th, the master classes of foreign scientists Stijn Coenen, Geert Van den Eijnden, Dirk Van Merode from the University of Thomas More (Belgium) under the ERASMUS + program were held at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics within the framework of the international project "APPLE - Applied Curricula in space exploration and intelligent robotic systems "on the topics:" Entrepreneurship and communication "and" Introduction to VHDL programming using Basys3 and Vivado ". Academician Sh.Ershin is 90 years old!
By the decision of the Academic Council academician Sh.Ershin was awarded with the Big Gold Medal "For the 80th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University", "For outstanding contribution to the development of al-Farabi KazNU".

Scientific school-workshop "Modern trends in mechanics and energy"
A scientific school-seminar called "Modern trends in mechanics and energy" for doctoral students and young scientists was organized in honor of the 90th anniversary of academician Sh.Ershin. At this school seminar, Professor A. Kaltaev, the head of the seminar, invited foreign scientists. In the first day of the five-day workshop, Professor Geoffrey Peyman, from the University of Pittsburgh, USA, spoke on the subject "Compressible Flow Modeling and Simulation" and Stanislaw Nagy from the Polish Aggressive Science and Technology University on the following day: "Hydrogen energy storage in salt caverns and in transmission high pressure natural gas networks ", and on the third day Professor Alexander Georgiev from the Plovdiv branch of Bulgaria - Sofia Technical University delivered lectures for young scientists and doctoral students on" Combined Thermal Installations with Renewable Energy Devices ".

Celebration of Kurban Ait.
Students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Physics and Mathematics Faculty of Physics and Mathematics Faculty of Physics and Mathematics Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, In honor of this holiday special guests came to the students' home and congratulated them.
