Scientific internships


On September 22-25, 2012 PhD doctor of Biotechnology department N.Sh.Akimbekov participated in the International “The 2nd/2012 International Conference on Materials and Products Manufacturing Technology” conference with the report on the subject "Wound Healing Activity of Carbonized Rice Husk" which took place in the city of Guandzhou, China.  

 

 


On September, 4-16th, 2011 the Associate Professor of of Biotechnology unit, PhD S.S.Asrandina under the invitation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) passed training course in the Central Food Research KEKI Budapest (Hungary). The training course was organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in cooperation with the Government of Hungary through the Radiation Protection Centre within the framework of the IAEA Technical Cooperation regional Project RER/5/013 “Evaluation of Natural and Mutant Genetic Diversity in Cereals Using Nuclear and Molecular Techniques”. The national coordinator of the project - prof. S.S.Kenzhebaeva. The programme of the training course “Regional training course on standardization of techniques for quality evaluation of solanaceous food crops” included a series of lectures, practical exercises and discussions covering the following main topics:

  • Mutation Breeding for Improved Nutrient Content;
  • Analysis of Carotenoids;
  • Analysis of Tocopherols;
  • Analysis of Vitamins (C).

 

 

 


During trainings-courses reports and presentations about results of the scientific researches spent within the limits of national projects in Kazakhstan also have been presented. Upon termination of training the certificate that Asrandina Saltanat has successfully finished regional courses Regional training course on standardization of techniques for quality evaluation of solanaceous food crops, vised by the director of Division for Europe Department of Technical Cooperation IAEA(Austria) and the Director General Central Food Research Institute Hungary (Budapest) has been given out.
