1990-2009. The head of the department doctor of biology science, professor A.T.Ivashchenko in 1984  defended the thesis for a doctor's degree and in 1988 was awarded the  professor rank. At the same time he wasthe head of department of biotechnology and biochemistry of Scientific Research Institute of Problems of Biology and Biotechnology. A.T.Ivashchenko has published more than 300 works, including more than 60 papers published  abroad, the monography, some teaching-methodical works, has two patent certificates. Under the supervising of A.T.Ivashchenko 24 candidate's theses and 3 doctor's have been defended. Two his students were are awarded ranks of winners of Lenin Komsomol of Kazakhstan, four students get  the grant of young scientists of Republic Kazakhstan. Post-graduate student A.N.Karazhanova of the first in Kazakhstan who was awarded grant of President RК of N.A.Nazarbayev, and post-graduate student D.K.Asanova was  the first in Kazakhstan who of  was awarded grant  of Cabinet of  ministry of RK. A.T.Ivashchenko  was awarded by a breastwork «For merits in development of a science of Republic Kazakhstan», awarded the State scientific grant for the outstanding contribution to development of a science and technics RК, «the Best teacher of high school»  grant  of Ministry of Education and Science. 2009 until now Karpenyuk Tatyana Anatoljevna  Dr.Sci.Biol., the professor of biotechnology, biochemistry, physiology of plants chair in  Al-Farabi University.       Has ended chair of physiology and biochemistry of plants of biological faculty KazGU by the name of S.M.Kirov  in 1982. Has passed training in Institute of physiology and biochemistry of microorganisms of the Academy of Science of USSR under the direction of academician I.S.Kulaeva and d.b.s L.A.Okorokova during the period of 1982 on 1986. In 1991 she has successfully protected the master's thesis on a biochemistry speciality . Since 1994 was the scientific employee of the University. Since 1995 for 1998 she combined scientific and pedagogical activity on the chair of biotechnology, biochemistry, physiology of plants. From 1996 to 1998y  she was a postdoctor of university, and in 2000 she has successfully protected the thesis for a doctor's degree on a speciality 03.00.04 - biochemistry by the theme «Properties of primary structure of protomers and genes of ATP-synthase and cytochrome-C-oxidaze». Since 1999 Karpenyuk worked as the senior teacher, since 2001year as the associated professor of faculty, since 2002 on present  time works in a professor position..   In combination she managing by the laboratory of ecological biochemistry at the  Scientific Research Institute of ecology problems. She head the project named «Research of an electronic irradiation influence on biochemical properties of active silt in processes of bioremediation broken water ecosystems ».Under her management 2 candidates of sciences are prepared. She is a member of the Academic council of biological faculty, a member of the specialized Academic council at biological faculty on protection of theses for a doctor's degree, and  faculty's supervises a magistracy. Karpenyuk is one of the elaborator of 5 educational State Obligatory Standards of RK, educational working plans for a bachelor degree and a magistracy on specialities of "Biotechnology" and "Biology". She is the co-author of the teaching aid «Tests for the control of students knowledge over biochemistry» (in the State and Russian languages). Karpenyuk  is the owner of the grant «The  Best teacher of High Educational  Establishment -2007».
