The third year student Makhabat Sadyrbayeva participated at the contest of talents among Kazakh universities and won a recognition prize.

“Welcome, freshman!” was held on the 25 of September among the students accommodated in the student residence.
«Dedication to students»
«Dedication to students» for the first course students was held in a bright and interesting manner thanks to Maslikhat of the department on October 8, 2011. According to the tradition of the department the contest of “Miss of the International Relations Department” was held. Tsoy Alexander performed one of the famous Kazakh songs “Gakku” in the Kazakh language as well as the dance group “Ulibnis” presented its dances and Buharev Didar, Iztaeva Ajym, Mahabbat and Karina sang songs in some foreign languages.
Action “We are against smoking! “
18.10.2010 was marked as the action “We are against smoking!” That action was held by the students of Maslihat. Each group of students showed posters and newspapers on the theme “how smoking influences on one’s health”. One of students as had a dress in the form of a cigarette and at same time he exchanged cigarettes for sweets at smokers. All that action was filmed in a video.
Student's Hostel Council organized the event dedicated to the St.Valentine’s Day on 14.02.2011. That event was held in the form of competitions, the winners of which were Bayakhmetov Nariman and Sadibekova Aidana. There were many competitions, songs and KVN. That event was preceded with the amazing dances.
Intellectual game "Megabrain" was organized by the scientific sector of the Student’s Hostel Council on February 16, 2011. Eight teams took part in the game the winners of which was the team "Marriott" (second course). The game was interesting and fascinating.
Members of Maslikhat with the support of Student’s Council organized traditional annual event “Miss of the International Relations Department” on April 27, 2011. The most six prettiest ladies presented our department.
There were student Maslikhat chairman elections at the faculty of International relations on the 29th of 2011. The faculty of International relations enabled all the students to vote. 551 students realized their electoral rights.
The official inauguration of the new Maslikhat chairman was held on May 6, 2011.
Students majoring in all specialties had been fighting for the title “The Best group” of the faculty of the International relations the whole year. The group-81 of the International law department became “The Best group” on April 28, 2011.
Debating tournament for a cup of «Сұңқар»
On February, 15th, 2011 at faculty of the International relations of the Kazakh National university there was a debating tournament among 1-course students for a cup «Сұңқар», devoted to the 20 anniversary of Independence of Republic of Kazakhstan. The organizer of the given tournament is the trade union «Сұңқар». The basic subjects of debate were social problems which debaters tried to solve. The Kazakh league where following groups are recognized as the best: І place МП 13К (Kalieva Nazerke, Beresov Aytas), ІІ place МП 11К (Sabit Nurila, Ahmet-Zaky Togzhan), ІІІ place МЭ 11К (Sanibek Zhansaya, Zhangalieva Kymbat), was judged by Komshabayuly Bauyrzhan and Dabylbekov Ulan. In a Russian league І place was taken by the group of MП 18Р (Bekshoranov Arat, Kopeshova Kazyna), ІІ place by МЭ 10Р (Kushkov Sabir, Androsenko Elena) and ІІІ by MП 12Р (Dosymbekov Vadim, Daribaev Marat). The Russian league was judged by Gumarov Azamat, Bajsalykova Aygul and Karshieva Sarin. Also there were defined the best speakers: Myrzataev Erzhan (МЭ 11К), Kalieva Nazerke (MП 13К), Erezhepova Gulbanu (РВ 11К), Sanibek Zhansaya (МЭ 11К), Sabit Nurila (MП 11К), Androsenko Elena (МЭ 10Р), Bekshoranov Arat (MП 18Р), Ogonyan Marias (MП 14Р), Dosymbekov Vadim (MП 12Р). The winners were awarded by diplomas, and the best command received the cup of «Сұңқар ».
12/11/2010 student's trade union "Sunkar" of faculty of the international relations of the Kazakh National University has visited children's home "Кausar" in Almaty city. For the boarding school where live 120 girls the trade union has organized a small concert named «Қыз өссе – елд і ң көрк і».
The concert began with instructive slide show and proceeded a beautiful song. In the concert there was magic sounds of dombra which fascinated everyone in a hall. During the concert various games were spent with children and gifts were presented. Brothers of Sunkar lifted moods putting sketches and saying cheerful jokes. Talented sisters of Sunkar entailed girls into the magic world of music, executing various compositions on dombra, violin and the piano. The children in Kausar haven't stood aside, they surprised with dances and songs too. In the end of evening congratulations about Independence Day and coming New year were sounded. Also sweets were presented to the children.
One week earlier to a concert there were declared action at faculty. And the considerable number of merciful and generous students with pleasure agreed to help. During the week toys, books were brought for the children of Kausar. Even there was a student who presented a small sofa.
«Respect to veterans – respect to the country»
1st October 2010 trade union "Sunkar" of faculty of the international relations of the Kazakh National University has held a concert «Respect to veterans – respect to the country», devoted to day of the elderly person. The members of Sunkar have organized a small concert, having presented celebratory mood to older persons in the house of veterans in Almaty city. During a concert students sang songs, cheered up putting sketches and masterly executed kuy. Also the roller with congratulations of foreign citizens which has pleased to veterans has been played. The youth which has surprised with their talents, gave warm wishes and in a tribute have presented flowers.
Student's trade union "Sunkar" of faculty of the international relations of the Kazakh National university on 25th October organized a lyrical evening for teachers-veterans « Жаныңда жүр жақсы адам...» which was devoted to 15 years-old of the faculty. Before the beginning of evening there were hung up posters with the interesting facts of teachers’ life at faculty. The dean of faculty pronounced a speech to opening of celebratory week. The lyrical evening was devoted to the following teachers-veterans: Ibrashev Z.U., Sabikenov S.N., Kozhahmetov K.K., Elemesov R. E, Kayrbaeva R. S, Suleymenova G. S, Makisheva М . The evening began with slide show where was told about life of our teachers. Then students put questions to teachers what interested them. Talented students surprised people with the performances. By voting of students the nominations were given to teachers. In the end of evening there were sounded warm wishes, words of gratitude and flowers were in honor presented to teachers. Our dear teachers who were founders of our faculty, deserving huge respect, are an example for imitation.
