Social life of International Relations Department is very interesting and various. The formation of active life position, patriotic spirit, optimistic outlook of each specialty is realized through programs and plans, adopted at the university and faculty levels. Not only educational level, but also moral qualities – energy, ambition, politeness, kindness, optimism and patriotism influence the competitiveness of the graduate. Such qualities of students are formed through academic process and participation in different conferences and competitions.
At the International Relations Department different organizations function: Students’ maslikhat, Students’ council “Sunkar”. Students of the faculty are members of the following organizations : “Zhas Otan”, AIESEC, SIFE, ELSA-Kazakhstan.
There are intra-faculty clubs and association at the faculty that promote the formation of active life of the students: “The world of the East”, “Stars of the East”, “Taleyran” “The world of NATO”, “Students’ Association of American studies”, “Аналитик”, “Юрист-международник”
Students of the faculty take part and win prizes in university, city, republican and international events. Students also take an active part in competitions and festivals such as “My Kazakhstan”, “Super student”, “Miss IRD”, ”Miss KazNU”, “Ана тілі аруы”, “Students’ spring”, “ Жалын”
The life at the faculty is interesting and colorful owing to Students’ maslikhat.
Under the auspices of the Maslikhat the following events are held: “Miss IRD”, “Қозы Көрпеш – Баян сұлу”, “Halloween”, “Осенний бал”, “Наурыз”, mini football “The Cup of the Dean”. Such events have become tradition for the faculty. Within the framework of the faculty discussions, debates and conferences are held.
To enhance political knowledge and healthy life of the students the faculty activists annually discuss the Message of the President to the People of Kazakhstan, “Strategy 2030”.
The faculty pays attention to foreign languages: English, German, French, Spanish clubs organize different kinds of events.
All events are held under the responsibility of Students’ council. Students’ council of Dormitory №1 is the winner among the rest 13.
Students’ life is the prerogative for those, who were able to enter the University. International Relations Department pays attention to students leisure. All conditions are provided to disclose versatile abilities and realize creative potential of students in different spheres of social life of the faculty. Creative activity of faculty students is an integral part of the faculty image.
