The main goal of the Office of program monitoring is the monitoring of the main business processes of university management, development of university informational websites, and increase of computer education of university employees.
The work on gathering and analyzing user demands is conducted by the office specialists in order to create program product. During the implementation step of the program product office specialists conduct installation, testing and check-out of the program product. Educative and monitoring work is conducted by the office specialists during the monitoring step of newly developed software. Consultations on the usage of new automotive systems are given, user guidance is developed, and suggestions on further improvement are taken into account. Training programs on information systems as well as user guidance are developed by the office workers, educative activities of employees are conducted. Office specialists manage the module of administering normative-advisory information, concept of authority, control the system of electronic document flow, take after the module of frequently asked questions, which allows to quickly solve the problems.
Strategic trends of the Office of program monitoring on 2011-2015 (2020) years are the following:
Development and improvement of the «Univer» system of study process, in which the new academic policy and credit system demands are realized.
Development of system of financial activities management, realization of mechanisms and requirements of international system of financial report.
Automation of functioning of administrative-managerial infrastructure. System of electronic document flow. Automation of the analysis of efficiency of the work of employees and the system overall. Implementationofbusinessanalyticscomponents. Creation of system of indexes of output of university divisions and workers, creation and development of instruments of constructing informative reports about the current situation at the university, increase of system of quality management efficiency.
Modernization of the university information portal. By 2015 university information portal has to fit to the requirements of KazNU entering the “Webometrics” list of top 300 universities.
