As a result of realization of the tasks of the strategic planning of the University will became the higher modern educational of institution of the world-level, being of leader and methodic centre of the development of Kazakhstan higher education system, possessing of efficient system of corporative management of directions of activity, skilfully using and importing of the most leading methods and technologies, training of capable competition of specialists of the world-level with global higher educations, development of scientific studies and development of standards of the world, effectively realizing of results of economy and society.
The Strategic purposes of the University:
development of the al-Farabi KNU not only as republican, but also international centre of education in the Central-Asiatic region with worthy positioning in the world educational space;
granting for citizens of Kazakhstan and citizens of foreign countries qualitative educational services, including remote education, electronic and communication infrastructure and technologies of education;
deduction of leader position of the University in sector of the higher educational institutions of fundamental and local science and their development in the most further;
creating of the happy conditions for introducing and realization of innovation development.
The tasks of the University:
realization the new innovation model of the University, harmonically combining leading international experience and domestic experience of the higher education and sciences and providing global integration of the University in the world educational space;
development of the modern educational technologies, import and adaptation of foreign technologies of education for the development of status of the al-Farabi KNU as a leading scholastic and methodic and scientific centre of system of the higher education of state;
provision of competitive ability and need of graduates, standards of international qualification of diploma, prestige of economic and public status of professorial and teaching staff;
development and export of modern technologies of high school management;
creating of global and local researches on the world and republican positions and their realization in the economy and society, creating of the effective relationships of science with educational process;
development of the educational, scientific and innovation infrastructures, efficient ensuring of technologies of the University activity;
development of the international cooperation in the higher educational space, training of the post-high educational schools, experience exchange and exchange of professorial staffs, increasing of the PTC qualification, development of research and development of innovations.
